Description

Position Summary: 
TimberQuest Project Managers oversee multiple projects simultaneously, leading each from inception through closeout and ensuring successful outcomes through strong planning, execution, communication, and team development. They proactively drive continuous improvement, develop systems that support repeatable and efficient processes, maintain strong relationships with key partners, and provide ongoing feedback to preconstruction/design, operations, and factory teams. The role requires a self directed, well organized team player.
 
Responsibilities: 

Estimating, Bidding & Preconstruction: 
  • Manage and lead the bid process; develop and distribute bid instructions; ensure coverage, accuracy, and risk awareness across scopes.
  • Manage project control estimates.
Subcontracting & Procurement: 
  • Plan and execute subcontractor buyout and selection; prepare subcontract agreements and exhibits.
  • Participate in BIM meetings ensuring coordination and scope integration
  • Manage procurement plans/logs
Project Execution & Controls: 
  • Lead or perform all core project management processes including kick-off and logistics meetings, budgeting, change management, RFIs, submittals, quality control, pay applications and close-out
  • Work with Superintendents to resolve issues and maintain schedule
  • Collaborate with project Accountant on cost allocation and billing
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project or P6, Procore, ACC, Bluebeam and Vista.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, MEP trades, and permit processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

California Pay Transparency: 
In accordance with California law, the salary range for this position $134,440 – $164,300. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, market conditions, internal equity, and the scope of responsibility aligned to the role.
